Jesus loves you!

This is what the Bible says the end will be like for people who choose to serve Jesus and those who serve idols, the beast or Satan:
Rev. 20:4-5: {I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus, and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their forehead or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection}

And Revelation 20:12,15 says: And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and the books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they have done as recorded in the book. If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire}....[This is the word of God]...Whether you believe in Christ Jesus or not, in that day, you are gonna be stand before God and be judged.

Muslims, Confucianists, Buddhists, Hindus, Satanists, Mayans, Sikhs, Atheists, Santerias are all going to stand in the presence of God to be judged on whether you believed in Jesus Christ and walked the way God expected you to walk or not. In that day, it will be too late to change your mind to come to the knowledge of Christ Jesus. Jesus came to the world to die for the sins of everyone that who ever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life (John 3;16). Jesus shed his blood for you and I. Please, listen to the gospel, believe in Christ and walk in the light and you shall reign with Jesus forever. Today is the day, tomorrow might be late for you. Many people are worshiping false gods, images of the beast but have no idea. Don't be one of those who have eyes but cannot see, have ears but cannot hear (Mark 8:18).

Devil worshippers are already in our society. I don't have time to list them, but you can find them on youtube openly confessing their faith in the devil( a fallen angel deceiving many). All the hiphops, rap music and the junk music are all products of the devil. The movie and music industry are being controlled by the devil and his agents. Jesus loves you and He wishes that no one perish. We have to know that there devil is the author of lies and he is a liar (John 8:44). But Jesus is the prince, the author and promoter of peace (John 14:27). The world can never give peace to anyone except Jesus.

Jesus is the Lord of all lords and the King of kings. He will reign forever with those who are obedient to his word and those whose ways are righteous. Repent and commit your life to Jesus and he will come and dwell in you and you shall become a child of God. Jesus says in Rev. 22:14-16: {Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.“Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you a this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.} Amen.

The Seal of God...Part 2

Praise God today and forever! I said in the other post that the fact that one or many read about Jesus doesn't mean they know Him. You might wonder why I said that. It is simple. I can read other religious books such as the Koran but I won't necessarily  and automatically become a Muslim.But the Holy Spirit has been promised to all those who believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of the Most High God. The Holy Spirit comes into us to give us power (Acts 1:8), to teach us all things( John 14:26), and reveal the mysteries of God (1 Corinth 2:10-15). We can no longer live in ignorance and become like those who haven't heard of the good news, because we cannot please God if we live by the flesh and not by the Spirit (Rom. 8:8). Paul writes in Romans 8:14 that those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. We are the children of God; redeemed, purchased and saved by the blood of Jesus. We no longer live as the unbelievers, but live by the faith in the Son of God because Christ lives in us (Galatians 2:20).

Many pastors preach part of the Bible and not the whole Bible. They preach what will be comfortable and acceptable for the congregation and even themselves. It is demeaning to God for Christians to doubt his power which is the Spirit of God dwelling is us. If we doubt, then  what separate us from the world if we don't believe in the power of God. In Mark 16:15-18, Jesus explicitly said that specific signs will accompany all those who believe and are baptized : i) they will drive out demons( demons still exist by the way-they are fallen spirits and don't die) ii) they will speak in new tongues iii) they will pick up snakes with their hands and will not hurt them iv) they will place their hands on sick people and they will recover. 

We know for certain these signs followed Jesus in his ministry. So why is it that others believe that this signs cannot come upon believers in this 21st Century? This is evidence of the Spirit of God which was so evident in Christ Jesus' life and ministry. Again, all these signs followed the apostles both men and women. Peter and Paul raised the dead (Acts 9:36-42 and Acts 20:9-12) respectively. In Acts 2, all the disciples spoke in new tongues and healed the sick throughout their ministries. Even Paul was attacked by a viper but didn't die when all the people thought he was going to die (Acts 28:3-6).

We shouldn't forget that Jesus said in John 14:12 " anyone who has faith in me will do the works I have been doing and even greater things than these"(There is no limitation to this "anyone" because i am part of that "anyone" and you are part too). This shows that Christ Jesus want us to do all that he did and even more than that. If we have a faith just like the mustard seed, we will be able to do wonders as Jesus said to us in Luke 17:6 and Matthew 17:20. If you have the Holy Spirit dwelling in you and have faith, nothing will be impossible for you because all things are possible to them that believe (Mark 9:23). The Holy Spirit requires our genuine faith in God to function. We have a "Spirit" in us that is from God. And the word of God remains forever. If it worked for Paul, Peter, James, John, Philip etc it will still work for me and you because Christ Jesus is alive and he is the Word of God (John 1:14).

You might asked how then can one receive the Holy Spirit! Firstly, you need to be baptized in water and be prayed for by spirit filled pastors (Instances in Acts 19:1-6 when Paul Paul prays for certain believers and they receive the Holy Spirit; Acts 2; Acts 4:31), and secondly you can receive the Holy Spirit through ministration or preaching of the word of God (Example of this is Cornelius and his family in Acts 10:1-48; 11:1-18). There are fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22) and evidence of the Spirit (1 Corinth 12:7-10). I am talking about the evidence of the Holy Spirit in us.

Finally, God is expecting a deeper relationship with us. To be pleased by God, we need to live by the Spirit because a man who has not the Spirit of God does not accept things of the Spirit because they are foolishness unto them, and cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned (1 Corith 2:14). It's about time we make Christ Jesus our first love and live in our Spirit because God is Spirit and those who worship him must worship in truth and in Spirit ( John 4:24). Know who you are in Christ Jesus because we are here on earth to reign, subdue and have dominion on earth. We have obtained the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven when Jesus died and redeemed us. We are gods (John 10:34) because we have the Holy Spirit in us.

The Seal of God.. Part 1

Brothers and sisters in the Lord, we must not forget that we are living in the age where many prophecies have been foretold to take place. As we watch them unfold, we must be watchful and be steadfast in our faith in Christ Jesus. The Lord Jesus is coming again and sooner than you think. His second coming is imminent. Is your heart right with God? Have you given your whole life to Jesus?

Beloved, we are witnessing the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in this generation. God is fulfilling His promise to this generation as He declared in Joel 2:28-29 saying "  And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out my spirit upon all people, your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions: even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. This is happening. It is going to intensify. Maybe you cannot see because you are not in Him and He is not in you.

And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, saying hurt not the earth,neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads (Revelation 7:2-3). Please,make sure you are not left out, because without this seal, your eternal salvation is not guaranteed. In Ephesians 1:13b-14, Paul writes that having believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession.

Maybe you have head of Jesus or even read about Jesus, but that doesn't guarantee your salvation. Or maybe you go to church every other Sunday but have not yet received Jesus into your heart and life. There is a difference between being told about Jesus and having a relationship with Him. Maybe you don't really get what this " Holy Spirit" deal is all about.Or maybe you have been told that you don't need any Holy Spirit to inherit the Kingdom of God. But I tell you the truth, which is the word of God that everyone needs the Holy Spirit. Jesus told Nicodemus in John 3:3-7 that "No one will see the Kingdom of God unless he or she is born again. Born again simply means being born of water and the Spirit.

Jesus loves you and He is waiting to come into you and make abode in you as He said in John 14: 23. He told His disciples that He will ask the Father to give us the Holy Spirit, which is the spirit of truth, who the world cannot accept because it sees Him not or knows Him. You can only know Jesus if He is revealed to you by the Spirit. In Acts 1, Jesus charged His disciples not to go anywhere to preach or witness to anyone in Jerusalem or beyond until they receive the promise of the Father, which is the Holy Spirit. Jesus knew that they needed a revelation. He saw that they are powerless without the indwelling Spirit. This tells us why the disciples walked with Jesus, saw all the miracles He performed, listened to Him daily and yet couldn't understand Him.

However, in Acts 2, when they all received the Holy Spirit, we are told that the disciples boldly proclaimed the good news to all those foreigners and indigenous people who had assembled there. This was the power of the Holy Spirit. God is moving moving mightily in young men and women now. You need the Spirit of God to be able to please Him. The whole purpose of our time here on this earth is to find out where we are going to spend eternity. You won't know this by being of the world. You need revelation from the Holy Spirit.

Wake up!!!

Wake up Christians. Wake up people of God. Wake up, you who have been called. Wake up world. Know that the God we serve is not a man, who thinks and works like men. He is incomprehensible, immutable, untamable, un-falsifiable, His ways unknowable. He is eternal.  In Isaiah 55:9, the word of the Lord declares " For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways. Why then do we compare our abilities to the Lord's?

It is sad that those who claim to have seen the light many times belittle the living God. It is also demeaning to God for us humans to think that God cannot do the impossible. Stop being a skeptic because that attitude doesn't please God. Is God a mortal, who is bound to sin or a weakness? Is He made of dust like us who lives for a moment, dies and returns to ground? Is He not the God of the beginning and the God of the end? There is nothing that God cannot do. You only have to believe in the power of God.

Wake up and read your Bible. Get to know His word and have a relationship with Him. From Genesis chapter one to Revelation 22, we are introduced to a God whose works, thoughts and ways are just unbelievable? The Bible is not a mythical book that tells some folk tales but it is a book that reveals the origin of the world as well as the future. I don't really care about what scientists and their erroneous findings say. I also don't really care what other religions believe. I won't allow myself to be deceived because I have seen the light and the truth has set me free. And I pray God opens the eyes of people to see the truth.

If the world thinks that there is no way the world could have been created in six days, why don't we tell them to fear the Lord and get real knowledge ( Proverbs 1:7).  One can never have have knowledge of the truth unless they fear the Lord. This is what the word of God says.  Please people of God, know that Jesus is coming for a people who believe in Him as the savior, who are born again and are led by the Spirit of God. Jesus said in John 4:24 that God is Spirit and that those who worship Him must worship in truth and in Spirit. Again, Jesus told Thomas, one the disciples who disbelieved His resurrection that blessed are those who have not seen and yet  have believed. Oh yes it is possible to be a follower of Christ Jesus and still disbelieve. You need the Holy Spirit.

Please, don't be deceived by the fallacies of the world. Believe in Jesus today and He will lead you to the truth. He will show you the path of righteousness because He is the light of the world and you will not live in ignorance and skepticism. Believe in Jesus as your Lord and savior, repent from your sins and you will not be condemned ( Romans 10:9, Mark 16:16). God be with you as you read this. Amen.

Make more room for God this year 2013

It's a new year again. I guess we can say we survived 2012, the supposed end of the world as predicted by the Mayan calendar. Many of us start every new year with new aspiration. We make long term plans as well as short term ones and hope it goes accordingly as planned. Others make room for failures and anticipate the worse. Even many Christians don't even have room for the plans of God for their own lives.

 But in Proverbs 19:21, we are told that though there are many devices in a man's heart, however only the counsel of the Lord shall stand. Therefore, as believers, we should endeavour to trust fully in the Lord this year. Also we should commit our works to the Lord, and He will establish our thoughts ( Proverbs 16:3). We should pray to God to have control of our thoughts and direct our paths. It is hard to know the way we should go unless we abide in the word of God because God counsels us through his Spirit and His word. No wonder the Psalmist say in  Psalm 119:105 that "Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path".

 In addition, God will reveal his purpose for our lives through His Spirit that dwells in us. In 1 Corinthians 2:10-14, Paul writes that God has revealed His wisdom and plans to us through the Holy Spirit, because the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. Therefore we should allow the Holy Spirit to show us the way and lead us into the path of righteousness. 

We should make it a habit to read the word of God everyday if we want to grow as a christian. One can only have a deeper relationship with God if we know His word and be led by the Spirit ( Romans 8:14). Jesus said in John 15:7 that if we remain in Him and His words remain in us, whatever we ask from the Lord will be given to us. 

As we patiently waits for the coming of Christ Jesus, we should pray earnestly and be watchful lest the devil will come to steal, kill and destroy us (John 10:10). Families should set time apart to do devotions and teach their young ones about the word of God. Let us be like Joshua who said, " But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord" (Joshua 24:15). Don't give room for complacency, but fear the Lord and live for Jesus.

There is still a room for you in the Kingdom of God for you. Why don't you allow God lead you through 2013 and beyond should our Savior Jesus tarries. God will love to show you the way. God bless you as you make that decision this year.

JESUS, the perfect Christmas gift

It's Christmas again. Christmas is the time to show love and to proclaim the birth of the Messiah who God graciously sent into the world to save all mankind. Because God first loved us when we were yet sinners (Romans 5:8, 1 John 4:10).

Right now, the shopping malls are already packed. Everyone is busy buying gifts for families, friends and co-workers. Others have already bought their gifts and have even given them out. 

 So, I ask, how much did that gifts you bought this Christmas cost you?  Why did you buy those gifts? Is there another reason why you chose that particular gift and what impact do you think your precious gift is going to make in the lives of those people? Is Christmas only about buying material gifts or it's more than just that? 

Two thousand years ago, God sent His only begotten son, Jesus, to the world to save all humanity from our sins (John 3:16). Jesus is the gift that God sent to the world that whosoever believes in Him wouldn't perish but have eternal life. This gift is eternal, nonperishable, doesn't expire, a gift that no one can take away from you even if you are the most weakest person on earth. There is no greater joy than for one to receive the son of God who God gifted onto humanity? The birth of Jesus does not only fulfill biblical prophecies (as in Isaiah  9:6, 63:5, 7:14 ), but changed the course of history- since He is the history and the future

The wise men came from the East to worship the newborn King, not to just present a gift and return (Matthew 2:1-3). It wouldn't make sense for them to have just come all the way from the East to give their gifts and leave. They recognized that a King greater than all earthly kings was about to be born. They saw that His star out shined the galaxy. 

We should therefore not only celebrate Christmas for it's merry making but also proclaim that love of God to friends and families who are oblivious of Jesus Christ. Christmas is all about Jesus and not Santa Claus, and Santa is not the reason why we celebrate Christmas. 

I think this is another way the devil is trying to gradually eliminate anything concerning Jesus from our society. Rather than Christians taking their children to see a Santa Claus, why don't we tell the children about the real meaning of Christmas - the birth of the Messiah, the only Savior of the World. 

Jesus is the gift you need for this Christmas. He came into the world because of you and I. Do you have that gift which is eternal? Why don't you tell your loved one that Christmas is all about Jesus and that He is the perfect Christmas gift for all. Why don't you gift the perfect Christmas gift to your son or daughter, mother or father, brother or sister, husband or wife, friend or enemy by sharing the story of His love. By doing so, we demonstrate our love to them.

All those material gifts cannot save you or give you eternal life. Jesus is the giver of life. Allow Him into your heart this Christmas and you never remain the same

When Jesus walks In

When Jesus walks in, love becomes abundant

When He walks in, His power is manifested

When Jesus walks in, the sorrowful are comforted

When He walks in, the mountains shook and nations tremble

When He walks in, every knee bows

When He walks in, every tongue confesses that He’s Lord

When He walks in, you will feel the fire

When Jesus walks in, the storms are calmed

When He walks in, all fear is gone

When He walks in, you can face tomorrow

When He walks in, knowledge is gained

When He walks in, understanding is given

When Jesus walks in, the truth is revealed

When He walks in, He stills the heart

When He walks in, death is defeated

When He walks in, there’s a change- old life passes away

When Jesus walks in, there’s a testimony

When He walks in, peace reigns

When He walks in, order is restored

When Jesus walks in, He shepherds his flock

When He walks in, prophets, pastors, evangelists, teachers are made

When Jesus walks in, His servants are empowered

When He walks in, all sicknesses are healed

When He walks in, His flock recognizes Him

When Jesus walks in, the world refuse to contain Him

When He walks in, His word conquers all

When He walks in, the earth quakes, and the seas roar

When Jesus walks in, His spirit is poured out unto those thirsty for Him
When Jesus walks in, He baptizes with the Holy Spirit 

When He walks in, His kingdom replaces all earthly kingdoms

When He walks in, He blesses the righteous without measure

When Jesus walks in, He becomes a refuge for the oppressed

When Jesus walks in, all nations and people are drawn to Him

When Jesus walks in, His voice is heard

When He walks in, there is a new creation

When Jesus walks in, life is given fully

When Jesus walks in, there is a new song

When He walks in, there is unity

When He walks in, there is revelation of GOD

When Jesus walks in, the laws of science are refuted

When He walks in, the knowledge of the wise becomes foolish

When Jesus walks in, righteousness reign

When He walks in, holiness becomes a lifestyle

When He walks in, there is repentance

When Jesus walks in, there’s forgiveness

When Jesus walks in, the alter becomes drenched with tears

When Jesus walks in, a sinner becomes a son

When Jesus walks in, the prodigal returns home

When He walks in, there is no apathy

When He walks in, there is no discrimination

When Jesus walks in, His love flows like a fountain

When Jesus walks in, there is no race but just one people

When Jesus walks in, His grace becomes abundant

When He walks in, the future is guaranteed eternal

When He walks in, the impossible becomes possible

When Jesus walks in, the divine is experienced

When He walks in, there is a relationship

When He walks in, He speaks to our hearts

When Jesus walks, our spirit being becomes alive

When He walks in, Heaven becomes our focus

When Jesus walks in, we become the heirs of the Kingdom of Heaven

When Jesus walks in, He becomes our Lord, and we, His children

When He walks in, a new chapter of life begins

When Jesus walks in, He finishes what He started

When He walks in, there is a renewal of mind

When He walks in, He gives out gifts and talents

When Jesus walks in, our debts are paid in full

When Jesus walks in, slaves are liberated

When He walks in, servants become lords

When Jesus walks in, there is freedom

When Jesus walks in, champions are made

When He walks in, He becomes our friend

When Jesus walks in, His presence becomes contagious

When Jesus walks, the poor are taken care of

When Jesus walks in, selflessness replaces selfishness

When Jesus walks in, He becomes the KING

When He walks in, there is a true worship

When He walks in, relationship replaces religion

When Jesus walks in, his divine purpose replaces our will

When walks in, the riches of His glory is known

When Jesus walks in, He becomes our dwelling place

When He walks in, He opens a divine connection

When Jesus walks in, He fixes the broken hearted

When Jesus walks in, our faith is perfected

When Jesus walks in, our love for one another transcends race or status

When Jesus walks in, there is no favoritism

When Jesus walks in, the good news is proclaimed to all people

When Jesus walks in, salvation is offered to all who believe in Him

When Jesus walks in, He gives us the rights to become sons and daughters

When Jesus walks in, we become the heirs of Heaven

When Jesus walks in, there is abundance of joy
